Baby Wrens!

Hi Sibyl and Henry,

This year the wrens have built their nest in the birdhouse right by my studio.  They chatter, annoyed, when I go to my studio door.  However,they have been fine and very busy  Today, the baby wrens are gone, and I can hear their parents talking to them amongst the bushes, where they still bring them their lunch.  But yesterday, I took out Grandpa's new camera, and took picture of them.  Here they are:

Hi Sibyl and Henry,

The baby cardinals have hatched right outside our front window, by the sofa.  The parents are busy feeding the three of them.  Both the daddy and the mommy cardinals have been coming, and the mommy cardinal keeps them warm.  Have a look:

Halloween -- and Orion

Hi Sibyl and Henry,

It's been so long since I put anything in a message for you.  I'll be mailing your pink elephant, Sibyl, and your blue wolf, Henry, tomorrow.  Meanwhile, here are some videos -- Mommy or Pop might have already shown them to you.  This one is about our Halloween, when so many kids came to our door:



And this one is about Orion, Aunt Greta and Uncle Aaron's baby, who you will see when you come for Christmas.  He is three months old:



Grandpa and I are buying the beds you will have when you come in December.  You will be sleeping in the room that used to be my computer room (and still is) but there will be lots more space.
